The Company operated 1,032 retail locations as of September 30, 2008, including 754 stores and 278 leased departments, throughout the United States and Canada. The Company is also the provider of maternity apparel to Kohl's, which operates approximately 957 stores throughout the United States. It operates its 754 stores under four retail nameplates: Motherhood Maternity (Motherhood), Mimi Maternity (Mimi), A Pea in the Pod (Pea) and Destination Maternity. It also sells merchandise on the Internet, primarily through DestinationMaternity.com and its various brand-specific Websites. The Company designs and contract manufactures approximately 90% of the merchandise it sells.
