Description
NetScout Systems, Inc. (NetScout) designs, develops, manufactures, markets, licenses, sells and supports market application and network performance management and service assurance solutions for the Internet protocol (IP) based service delivery environments. The Company manufactures and markets these products in integrated hardware and software solutions that are used by commercial enterprises, governmental agencies and telecommunication service providers worldwide. On October 3, 2011, it completed the acquisition of Fox Replay BV (Replay). On November 18, 2011, the Company acquired Simena, LLC (Simena). During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012 (fiscal 2012), the Company introduced products, such as nGenius Packet Flow Switch, nGenius Integrated Agent for Cisco Unified Computing System express (UCSe), nGenius Voice / Video Manager and nGenius Enterprise Intelligence. In November 2012, the Company acquired ONPATH Technologies.
