Description

Northwest Pipe Company is a manufacturer of large-diameter, high-pressure steel pipeline systems for use in water infrastructure applications, related to drinking water systems. The Company also manufactures other welded steel pipe products for use in a range of applications, including energy, construction, agriculture, industrial and traffic signpost systems. Its pipeline systems are also used for hydroelectric power systems, wastewater systems and other applications. During the year ended December 31, 2010, it manufactured water infrastructure products through its Water Transmission Group, which generated approximately 57% of its net sales. Tubular products are marketed through a network of direct sales force personnel and sales agents. Its Tubular Products Group manufactures steel pipe for use in a range of applications, including energy, construction, agricultural, industrial, and traffic signpost systems.
