Orbotech Ltd. is a global provider of yield-enhancing and production solutions for printed circuit boards (PCBs) and liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and provides similar solutions to manufacturers of other electronic components, such as touch screens and interconnect (IC) substrates. The Company designs, develops, manufactures and markets inspection, test, repair and production solutions, with PCB and flat panel displays (FPD) manufacturers as its main customers. The Company operates in two segments: Production Solutions for the Electronics Industry and Recognition Software. It offers a technologically advanced end-to-end solutions portfolio to address yield management at various manufacturing stages for PCBs, FPDs and other electronic components. On September 26, 2011, the Company acquired the assets of CorrectClaimsNow LLC and V MOM LLC.
