Description

PDC Energy Inc. is a domestic independent exploration and production Company which produces, develops, acquires and explores for crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs). The Company divides its operating activities into two segments: Oil and Gas Exploration and Production, and Gas Marketing. The Company operates in the Wattenberg Field in Colorado, the Utica Shale in southeastern Ohio and the Appalachia-Marcellus Shale in northern West Virginia. Its operations in the Wattenberg Field are focused on the liquid-rich horizontal Niobrara and Codell plays. The Company�s current focus is its Ohio development activity in the liquid-rich portion of the Utica Shale. It owns an interest in approximately 3,100 gross producing wells, of which 249 are horizontal. The Company has 70 horizontal wells in the Wattenberg Field, 54 of which is complete, and had participated in 49 gross, 10.4 net, horizontal non-operated drilling projects.
