Description

Raven Industries, Inc. is an industrial manufacturer providing a variety of products. The Company markets its products worldwide and has its principal operations in the United States of America. It operates in four segments: Applied Technology Division, Engineered Films Division, Aerostar Division and Electronic Systems Division. The Applied Technology Division designs, manufactures, sells, and services precision agriculture products and information management tools. Its Engineered Films Division is a manufacturer and supplier of flexible films and sheeting. The Aerostar Division sells high-altitude research balloons and tethered aerostats for government and commercial research. The Electronic Systems Division is a total solution provider of contract electronic manufacturing services primarily for low volume/high mix industrial products. In January 2012, its Aerostar division acquired Vista Research, Inc. (Vista).
