Royal Bancshares of Pennsylvania, Inc. is a Pennsylvania business corporation and a bank holding company. The principal activities of the Company are supervising Royal Bank America (Royal Bank), which engages in general banking business in Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, Bucks, Philadelphia and Berks counties in Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware. Royal Bank offers a full of banking services to individual and corporate customers located in the Mid-Atlantic states. The Company also has a wholly owned non-bank subsidiary, Royal Investments of Delaware, Inc., which is engaged in investment activities. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had total assets of approximately $848.4 million and total deposits of approximately $575.9 million.
