S&W Seed Company is a producer and distributor of alfalfa seed around the world. The Company's alfalfa seed business encompasses the production, breeding and sale of non-dormant and dormant conventional varieties, and the potential for production and sale of genetically modified organism (GMO) varieties. In addition to alfalfa seed production and sales, it also conducts an ongoing stevia breeding program. The Company's operations span alfalfa seed production regions, with operations in the San Joaquin and Imperial Valleys of California, five additional Western states, Australia and three provinces in Canada. The Company also owns and operates seed-cleaning and processing facilities in Five Points, California and Nampa, Idaho. The Company's Nampa Facility sits on approximately 80 acres and includes conditioning, treating, bagging and warehouse facilities. The Company sells its seed varieties in more than 30 countries across the world.
