Description

Superconductor Technologies Inc. (STI) is engaged in the development and production of high temperature superconducting (HTS) materials and associated technologies. STI develops superconducting materials, cryogenic cooling, thermal packaging, manufacturing processes, and product design. Its flagship wireless product, SuperLink, combines a specialized filter using patented HTS technology with a cryogenic cooler and an amplifier. STI also develops and continues to provide a range of solutions for the wireless networks. The Company has deployed over 6,000 HTS filter systems operating in public wireless networks. The Company is applying its techniques for the development of high performance second generation (2G) HTS wire for applications ranging from air conditioner (AC) power cables to superconducting fault current limiters (SFCL) and HTS wind turbine generators. STI�s products operate in over 10,000 wireless carrier base stations.
