Silicon Graphics International Corp. (SGI) is a technical computing company. The Company is focused on helping customers solve their business and technology challenges by delivering computing and data analytics solutions. The Company's two reportable segments include the product segment and the service segment. The Product segment is consisted of its compute and Storage solutions. The Service segment is consisted of customer service support and professional services. The Company develops market and sell a line of mid-range and high-end scale-out and scale-up servers, enterprise-class storage hardware, differentiating software and designed-to-order solutions for large-scale deployments, coupled with global support and experienced professional services. The Company provides a range of solutions such as, government intelligence, life sciences, media and entertainment, virtual product development in the manufacturing industry, cloud and Web computing, and financial services.
