SPS Commerce, Inc. is a provider of on-demand supply chain management solutions, providing integration, collaboration, connectivity, visibility and data analytics. The Company provides its solutions through SPSCommerce.net, a hosted software suite. As of December 31, 2012, the Company had approximately 18,000 customers with contracts to pay it monthly fees, which it refers to as recurring revenue customers. The Company has also generated revenues by providing supply chain management solutions to an additional 32,000 organizations that, together with its recurring revenue customers, the Company refers to as its customers. The Company delivers its solutions to customers over the Internet using a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. On August 12, 2012, the Company acquired Edifice, a provider of cloud-based supply chain performance solutions.
