Description

Silver Standard Resources Inc. is a silver resource company. The Company�s properties are located in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Mexico, Peru and the United States. In addition to the Pirquitas Mine located in the Province of Jujuy, Argentina, it has several mineral projects, which include San Luis Project in Ancash Department, Peru; the Pitarrilla and San Agustin Projects in Durango State, Mexico; and the Diablillos Project in Salta Province, Argentina. It also has portfolio of mineral properties, which include the Berenguela Project in Peru; the Nazas Project in Durango State, Mexico; the Challacollo Project in Chile; the San Agustin and Veta Colorada Projects in Mexico; the Candelaria and Maverick Springs Projects in Nevada. On June 30, 2011, the Company purchased all of the Esperanza Resources Corp�s remaining interest in the San Luis Project. On September 23, 2011, the Company sold all of its interest in Bowdens Property to Kingsgate Consolidated Limited.
