Silver Standard Resources Inc. is a mining company. The Company is engaged in the operation, development, exploration and acquisition of precious metal projects. The Company’s projects include Pirquitas Mine, Marigold Mine, San Luis, Pitarrilla, Diablillos, Berenguela, Candelaria, Maverick Springs, San Marcial and Sunrise Lake. The Pirquitas Mine is a 100% owned property located in Argentina. The Marigold is located in Humboldt County, Nevada. The San Luis project is located in Peru. The Pitarrilla Project is located in Mexico. The Diablillos Project is a 100%-owned gold-silver project, located in the altiplano of northern Argentina. The Company’s wholly owned Candelaria Mine Project is located in the Candelaria Hills in west central Nevada. The San Marcial is situated in the Sierra Madre mountains, Mexico.
