State Auto Financial�s parent company is State Auto Mutual, a mutual property and casualty insurance company. It owns approximately 63% of State Auto Financial. State Auto Mutual Mutual�s other subsidiaries and affiliates include SA Florida, SA Wisconsin, Meridian Security, Meridian Citizens Mutual, Beacon National, Patrons Mutual, Litchfield and the Rockhill Insurers, each of which is a property and casualty insurance company. It operates in three business segments: personal insurance, business insurance (the insurance segments), and investment operations.
