Description

Uranium Resources, Inc. (URI) is engaged in the business of acquiring, exploring, developing and mining uranium properties, using the in-situ recovery (ISR) or solution mining process. The Company owns both developed and undeveloped uranium properties in South Texas and undeveloped uranium properties in New Mexico. The Company has two fully licensed ISR processing facilities in Texas: Kingsville Dome and Rosita. Through a joint venture with Cameco Resources (Cameco) the Company is continuing an exploration program on the 53,524 acre Los Finados property in Kenedy County, Texas. In New Mexico, the Company owns 183,000 acres of mineral holdings that contain approximately 101.4 million pounds U3O8 of in-place mineralised uranium material. On August 31, 2012, URI Merger Corporation merged with and into Neutron Energy, Inc. with Neutron surviving the merger as an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.
