Description
United Security Bancshares, Inc. (Bancshares) is a bank holding company. Bancshares operates one commercial banking subsidiary, First United Security Bank (the Bank). The Bank conducts a general commercial banking business and offers banking services, such as the receipt of demand, savings, individual retirement account and time deposits, personal and commercial loans, safe deposit box services and remote deposit capture. As of December 31, 2011, the Bank operated and served its customers through 19 banking offices located in Brent, Bucksville, Butler, Calera, Centreville, Coffeeville, Columbiana, Fulton, Gilbertown, Grove Hill, Harpersville, Jackson, Thomasville, Tuscaloosa and Woodstock, Alabama. The Bank has two wholly owned subsidiaries: Acceptance Loan Company, Inc. (ALC) and FUSB Reinsurance, Inc. (FUSB Reinsurance).
