U.S. Concrete, Inc. (U.S. Concrete) is a producer of ready-mixed concrete, precast concrete products and concrete-related products in select markets in the United States. As of December 31, 2012, the Company had 101 fixed and 11 portable ready-mixed concrete plants and seven aggregates facilities. During the year ended December 31, 2012, these plants and facilities produced approximately 4.8 million cubic yards of ready-mixed concrete and 3.3 million tons of aggregates. Its ready-mixed segment operates principally in Texas, California and New Jersey/New York, Oklahoma and Washington D.C. The Company's precast concrete products segment produces precast concrete at one plant in Pennsylvania. The Company has supplied concrete for green building projects, such as the San Francisco Public Utilities Headquarters, San Francisco Academy of Sciences, and One World Trade Center. In December 2012, the Company's subsidiary sold Arizona Precast Operations.
