West Bancorporation, Inc. (West Bancorporation) is a bank holding company. The Company owns West Bank, a focused community bank. The Company's and West Bank's only business is banking. West Bank provides community banking and trust services to customers located primarily in the Des Moines and Iowa City, Iowa and the Rochester, Minnesota metropolitan areas. West Bank operates eight offices in the Des Moines area, two offices in Iowa City, one office in Coralville and one office in Rochester, Minnesota. West Bank offers all basic types of credit to its customers, including commercial, real estate and consumer loans. West Bank offers trust services including the administration of estates, conservatorships, personal trusts and agency accounts. It also originates residential mortgages that are primarily sold in the secondary market. In addition, West Bank offers deposit services, including checking, savings, money market accounts and time certificates of deposit.
