Northeast Bancorp is a bank holding company. The Company's primary subsidiary and principal asset is its wholly owned banking subsidiary, Northeast Bank (the Bank or Northeast Bank), which has 11 banking branches. The Bank offers property and casualty insurance products through the Bank's wholly owned subsidiary, Northeast Bank Insurance Group, Inc. (NBIG). NBIG has 14 insurance agency offices, four of which are located in its banking branches. In addition, it also offers investment brokerage services, including financial planning products and services, through its office in Falmouth, Maine. The investment brokerage services are offered through a division of the Bank.
