Description

NGAS Resources, Inc. is an exploration and production company focused on natural gas plays in the eastern United States, principally in the southern portion of the Appalachian Basin. The Company specializes in generating its own geological prospects in this region. The Company also controls the gas gathering and transmission facilities for its core Appalachian properties, providing deliverability directly from the wellhead to interstate pipelines serving east coast natural gas markets. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company had interests in a total of 1,375 wells, concentrated on Appalachian properties that the Company operates and controls through its gas gathering infrastructure. In August 2009, the Company closed the sale of its remaining 50% interest in 485 miles of Appalachian gas gathering facilities to Seminole Energy Services.
