Northeast Indiana Bancorp, Inc. (Northeast Indiana) serves as the holding company for First Federal Savings Bank (First Federal or the Bank). First Federal is a federally chartered stock savings association whose principal business consists of attracting retail deposits from the general public and investing those funds primarily in first mortgage loans on owner-occupied, single-family residential real estate. The Bank also originates commercial real estate, construction, consumer and commercial business loans. In addition, First Federal invests in obligations of states and political subdivisions, mutual funds and other permissible investments. The Bank operates three banking offices in Huntington, Indiana.
