Description

Orbital ATK, Inc., formerly Alliant Techsystems Inc., is an aerospace and defense company. The Company designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems. The Company operates through three business segments: Flight Systems Group, which develops rockets that are used as small- and medium-class space launch vehicles; Defense Systems Group, which develops and produces military small- medium- and large-caliber ammunition, small-caliber commercial ammunition, propulsion systems, strike weapons, precision weapons and munitions, gun systems, aircraft survivability systems, fuzes and warheads, and special mission aircraft, and Space Systems Group, which develops and produces small- and medium-class satellites that are used to enable global and regional communications and broadcasting, conduct space-related scientific research, and perform other activities related to national security.
