Description

CommScope, Inc. (CommScope) is engaged in providing infrastructure solutions for communication networks. The Company through its Andrew brand is engaged in providing radio frequency subsystem solutions for wireless networks. Through the SYSTIMAX and Uniprise brands, CommScope is engaged in providing infrastructure solutions, delivering end-to-end physical layer solution, including cables and connectivity, enclosures, intelligent software and network design services, for business enterprise applications. The Company operates in four segments: Antenna, Cable and Cabinet Group (ACCG), Enterprise, Broadband and Wireless Network Solutions (WNS). On January 31, 2008, CommScope completed the sale of the Satellite Communications (SatCom) product line, to ASC Signal Corporation (ASC). On March 26, 2008, the Company entered into an agreement to divest its minority interest in Andes Industries, Inc. (Andes).
