Description

Cenovus Energy, Inc. (Cenovus) is a Canadian integrated oil company. The Company is in the business of developing, producing and marketing crude oil, NGLs and natural gas in Canada with refining operations in two refineries in the United States in Illinois and Texas. The Company operates in four business segments: Oil Sands, Conventional, Refining and Marketing, and Corporate and Eliminations. Oil Sands include the development and production of Cenovus�s bitumen assets at Foster Creek, Christina Lake and Narrows Lake. Conventional, includes the development and production of conventional crude oil, NGLs and natural gas in Alberta and Saskatchewan, including the heavy oil assets at Pelican Lake. Refining and Marketing is focused on the refining of crude oil products into petroleum and chemical products at two refineries located in the United States.
