DHT Maritime Inc., incorporated in April 14, 2005, operates a fleet of double hull tankers. The Company’s fleet consists of three very large crude carriers (VLCCs), which are tankers ranging in size from 200,000 to 320,000 deadweight tons (dwt); two Suezmax tankers, which are tankers ranging in size from 130,000 to 170,000 dwt, and four Aframax tankers, which are tankers ranging in size from 80,000 to 120,000 dwt. DHT Maritime Inc.’s fleet principally operates on international routes and had a combined carrying capacity of 1,656,921 dwt and a weighted average age of 8.7 years as of December 31, 2008. The Company acquired seven vessels in its fleet from subsidiaries of Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. (OSG). OSG is a bulk-shipping company, which owns and operates a fleet of 154 vessels (including newbuildings on order) that have a combined carrying capacity of 15.9 million dwt and 865,000 cubic meter (cbm) as of December 31, 2008.
