IRSA Inversiones Representaciones SA (IRSA) is an Argentina-based real estate company. The Company is engaged, directly and indirectly through subsidiaries and joint ventures, in a range of diversified real estate-related activities in Argentina, including the acquisition, development and operation of shopping centers; the origination, securitization and management of credit card receivables; the acquisition and development of residential properties and undeveloped land reserves for future development and sale; the acquisition, development and operation of office and other non-shopping center properties primarily for rental purposes, and the acquisition and operation of luxury hotels. The Company operates in six segments: shopping centers, consumer finance, development and sale of properties, offices and other non-shopping center rental properties, hotel operations, and financial transactions and other.
