Description

Stryker Corporation (Stryker) is a medical technology company. Stryker offers a diverse array of medical technologies, including reconstructive, medical and surgical, and neurotechnology and spine products. The Company operates in three business segments: Reconstructive, MedSurg, and Neurotechnology and Spine. Its products include implants used in joint replacement, trauma, and spinal surgeries; surgical equipment and surgical navigation systems; endoscopic and communications systems; patient handling and emergency medical equipment, as well as other medical device products used in a variety of medical specialties. In the United States, its products are marketed directly to doctors, hospitals and other health-care facilities. Internationally, its products are sold in over 100 countries through Company-owned sales subsidiaries and branches, as well as third-party dealers and distributors. In April 2014, the Company acquired Berchtold Holding AG.
