Description
Air Lease Corporation is an aircraft leasing company. The Company is principally engaged in purchasing commercial aircraft which the Company, in turn, lease to airlines around the world. As of December 31, 2012, the Company's fleet consisted of 155 aircraft, comprised of 118 single-aisle narrowbody jet aircraft, 27 twin-aisle widebody jet aircraft and 10 turboprop aircraft, with a weighted average age of 3.5 years. The Company's fleet principally consists of fuel efficient single-aisle jet aircraft, twin-aisle widebody aircraft and turboprop aircraft. As of December 31, 2012, the Company acquired 155 aircraft.
