Aegean Marine Petroleum Network Inc. is an independent physical supplier and marketer of refined marine fuel and lubricants. It purchases marine fuel from refineries, oil producers and other sources and resell and deliver these fuels using its bunkering tankers to end user. It procures marine fuel from refineries, oil producers, and resell to a diversified customer base, representing all segments of the shipping industry, including tankers, container ships, drybulk carriers, cruise ships, reefers, liquid natural gas/liquefied petroleum gas (LNG/LPG), car carriers, ferries, and marine fuel traders and brokers. The Company serves Greece, Gibraltar, the United Arab Emirates, or UAE, Jamaica, Singapore, Northern Europe, Antwerp-Rotterdam-Amsterdam, or ARA, Portland, United Kingdom, West Africa, Vancouver, Montreal, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Las Palmas, Tenerife, Morocco, Cape Verde and Panama. As of April 11, 2012, it owns a fleet of 61 bunkering vessels, 55 of which are double-hull.
