Aegean Marine Petroleum Network Inc. is a holding company. The Company is a marine fuel logistics company that markets and supplies refined marine fuel and lubricants to vessels in port and at sea. As a supplier, the Company procures marine fuel from refineries, oil producers and other sources and resells and delivers these fuels from its bunkering vessels to a base of end users. The Company owns a fleet of 53 bunkering vessels, 51 of which are double-hull, and charter-in ten bunkering vessels, eight of which are double-hull, with aggregate carrying capacity of approximately 323,000 deadweight ton (dwt). . The Company provides fueling services all types of ocean going and many types of coastal vessels, such as oil tankers, container ships, drybulk carriers, cruise ships, reefers, LNG or LPG carriers, car carriers and ferries. The Company customers include a diverse group of ocean-going and coastal ship operators and marine fuel traders, brokers and other users.
