Description

ConAgra Foods, Inc. (ConAgra Foods) is a food company. The Company operates in two segments: Consumer Foods and Commercial Foods. The Consumer Foods segment includes branded, private label, and customized food products, which are sold in various retail and foodservice channels, principally in North America. The products include a variety of categories (meals, sides, snacks, and desserts) across frozen, refrigerated, and shelf-stable temperature classes. The Commercial Foods segment includes commercially branded foods and ingredients, which are sold to foodservice, food manufacturing and industrial customers. In May 2012, it acquired Kangaroo Brands� pita chip operations and Odom�s Tennessee Pride. In March 2012, it acquired Del Monte Canada. In November 2011, it acquired National Pretzel Company. In August 2012, it acquired Bertolli and P.F. Chang�s Home Menu frozen meals businesses from Unilever PLC. In January 2013, it acquired Ralcorp Holdings Inc.
