Description

Cellcom Israel Ltd. (Cellcom) is an Israel-based company engaged in the telecommunication sector. The Company offers a range of services include cellular and landline telephony, roaming services for tourists in Israel and for its subscribers abroad and additional services in the areas of music, video and mobile office, among others. The Company operates a High Speed Parallel Adder (HSPA) 3.5 Generation network, in addition to Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), General Packet Radio Service (GPRS), Enhanced Data-rates for Global Evolution (EDGE) networks. The Company, through its customer service network, offers customers technical support, account information, direct to the door parcel delivery services, Internet and fax services, and other related services. As on August 31, 2011, Cellcom completed the acquisition of Netvision Ltd., which is engaged with providing Internet service, international landline telephone service, as well as local landline telephony services.
