CEMEX SAB de CV (CEMEX) is a Mexico-based company principally engaged, through its subsidiaries, in the cement manufacturing. The Company produces, distributes and sells cement, clinker, ready-mix concrete, aggregates and related building materials in more than 50 countries worldwide. The Company�s main production facilities are located in Mexico, the United States, Spain, Egypt, Germany, Colombia, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, the United Kingdom, Croatia, Panama, Latvia, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as CEMEX Espana SA, CEMEX Inc, Assiut Cement Company, CEMEX UK, Cemento Bayano SA, CEMEX Deutschland AG and Neoris NV among others. In addition, Southeastern Asset Management Inc was the Company�s major shareholder with 18.4% of its interest.
