Dolby Laboratories, Inc. creates audio, imaging and communication technologies that transform entertainment and communications at the cinema, home, work and on mobile devices. The Company offers digital signal processing and compression technologies. Its technologies enable the development of the audio technologies for the cinema, home entertainment, mobile and gaming experiences. It also provides products and services that enable content creators and distributors to produce, encode, transmit and playback content. It also develops applications for voice conferencing, as well as imaging solutions that enable high dynamic range imaging (HDR) picture quality in televisions and cinemas. It offers a range of services to support theatrical and television production for cinema exhibition, broadcast and home entertainment. It offers assistance in equipment calibration, mixing room alignment, equalization, as well as color and light image calibration.
