Its EMC Information Infrastructure business consists of three segments: Information Storage, Information Intelligence and RSA Information Security. In March 2012, the Company acquired Pivotal Labs. In May 2012, the Company acquired XtremIO. In May 2012, the Company acquired Syncplicity, Inc.
