Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Global Buy-Write Opportunities Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund�s primary investment objective is to provide current income and gains, with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. The Fund's investment program consists primarily of owning a diversified portfolio of common stocks, a segment of which (the U.S. Segment) holds stocks of the United States issuers and a segment of which (the International Segment) holds stocks of non-United States issuers, and selling on a continuous basis call options on broad-based domestic stock indices on at least 80% of the value of the U.S. Segment and call options on broad-based foreign country and/or regional stock indices on at least 80% of the value of the International Segment. Eaton Vance Management is the Fund�s investment adviser and administrator.
