Description

Federal Signal Corporation designs and manufactures a suite of products and integrated solutions for municipal, governmental, industrial and commercial customers. The Company operates in three segments: Safety and Security Systems, Fire Rescue and Environmental Solutions. The Company�s portfolio of products includes safety and security systems, vacuum loader vehicles, street sweepers, truck mounted aerial platforms, waterblasters, and technology-based products and solutions for the public safety market. As of December 31, 2012, it operated 11 manufacturing facilities in six countries around the world serving customers in approximately 100 countries globally. On September 4, 2012, 3M Company acquired the business of Federal Signal Technologies Group (FSTech) from the Company.
