In addition, it sell parts and tooling and provide service and repair, equipment rentals and training as part of an offering to its customer base. As of December 31, 2011, it operated 19 manufacturing facilities in six countries and provided its products and integrated solutions to municipal, governmental, industrial and commercial customers throughout the world. In September 2012, 3M Company acquired the business of Federal Signal Technologies Group (FSTech) from the Company.
