Description

Federal Signal Corporation designs and manufactures a suite of products and integrated solutions for municipal, governmental, industrial and commercial customers. The Company�s portfolio of products include safety and security systems, vacuum loader vehicles, street sweepers, truck mounted aerial platforms, waterblasters, and technology and solutions for intelligent transportation systems. The Company's segments include Safety and Security Systems, Fire Rescue and Environmental Solutions. In addition, it sell parts and tooling and provide service and repair, equipment rentals and training as part of an offering to its customer base. As of December 31, 2011, it operated 19 manufacturing facilities in six countries and provided its products and integrated solutions to municipal, governmental, industrial and commercial customers throughout the world. In September 2012, 3M Company acquired the business of Federal Signal Technologies Group (FSTech) from the Company.
