Flotek Industries, Inc. (Flotek) is an energy services company. The Company develops and supplies oilfield products, services and equipment to the oil, gas and mining industries, and compounds to companies that make cleaning products, cosmetics, food and beverages, and other products that are sold in the consumer and industrial markets. It operates in four segments: Energy Chemical Technologies, which designs, develops, manufactures, packages and markets specialty chemicals used in oil and gas well drilling, cementing, completion, stimulation and production; Consumer and Industrial Chemical Technologies, which designs, develops and manufactures products that are sold to companies in the flavor and fragrance industries and the specialty chemical industry; Drilling Technologies, which rents, sells, inspects, manufactures and markets down-hole drilling equipment; and Production Technologies, which assembles and markets production-related equipment.
