General Dynamics Corporation is an aerospace and defense company that offers a portfolio of products and services in business aviation; combat vehicles, weapons systems and munitions; military and commercial shipbuilding, and communications and information technology. Its business groups include Aerospace, Combat Systems, Marine Systems and Information Systems and Technology. On July 22, 2011, it acquired Fortress Technologies, Inc. In September 2011, the Company acquired Vangent Holding Corp. In November 2011, the Company acquired Metro Machine Corp., a surface-ship repair operation located in Norfolk, Virginia. In December 2011, the Company completed acquired Force Protection, Inc., a provider of blast- and ballistic-protected platforms. During the year ended December 31, 2011, it acquired Vangent, Inc. In February 2012, the Company acquired the Enterprise Jet Center FBO at Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas. In June 8, 2012, the Company acquired IPW Holdings, Inc.
