Description

GulfMark Offshore, Inc. provides offshore marine services primarily to companies involved in the offshore exploration and production of oil and natural gas. The Company operates in three segments: the North Sea (N. Sea), Southeast Asia (SEA) and the Americas. Its vessels transport materials, supplies and personnel to offshore facilities, as well as move and position drilling structures. During the year ended December 31, 2012, the Company sold four crew boats and one fast supply vessel previously operating in its Americas region. As of December 31, 2012 operate a fleet of 78 offshore supply vessels (OSVs) in regions: 33 vessels in the North Sea, 16 vessels offshore Southeast Asia, and 29 vessels offshore the Americas. Offshore supply vessels include Anchor Handling, Towing and Support Vessels (AHTSs), Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs), Fast Supply or Crew Vessels (FSVs/Crewboat), Specialty Vessels (SpVs), Standby Rescue Vessels (Stby), Construction Support Vessels and Utility Vessels.
