Agria Corporation (Agria) is a China-based agriculture company with operations in China and internationally. In China, the Company engaged in research and development production and sale of seed products, including field corn seeds, edible corn seeds and vegetable seeds. Its China operations are primarily undertaken through its wholly owned subsidiaries and through its contractual arrangements with Guanli, its consolidated affiliated entity. It owns through Agria Asia a 50.1% interest in PGW. In July 2010, the Company divested P3A, which was engaged in research and development, production and sales of upstream agriculture products. In July 2010, the Company disposed of its sheep products and seedlings business segments. In January 2010, it acquired Tianjin Beiao Seed Technology Development Co., Ltd. (BeOK). In September 2010, it acquired a 49% interest in Ganxin.
