Hillenbrand, Inc. (Hillenbrand) is a global industrial company, which makes and sells premium business-to-business products and services for a range of industries. Hillenbrand has two business platforms: the Process Equipment Group and Batesville. The Process Equipment Group is engaged in the design and production of equipment and systems used in processing applications and Batesville is engaged in the North American funeral products industry. In September 2012, the Company�s subsidiary, Batesville Casket Company, acquired HMIS, Inc. Effective December 1, 2012, Hillenbrand completed the acquisition of Coperion Capital GmbH (Coperion).
