The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. (The Hartford) is a holding company for insurance and financial services subsidiaries that provide property and casualty and life insurance, as well as investment products to both individual and business customers in the United States. The Company�s segments include Property & Casualty Commercial, which provides workers� compensation, property, automobile, marine, livestock, liability and umbrella coverages; Consumer Markets, which offers automobile, homeowners and personal umbrella coverages; Property & Casualty Other Operations, which includes property and casualty operations; Group Benefits, which provides group life, accident and disability coverage; Mutual Funds, which offers mutual funds for retail and retirement accounts, and Talcott Resolution, which comprises runoff business from the Company's individual annuity, the retained Japan fixed payout annuity liabilities, institutional and private-placement life insurance businesses.
