Description

The Hillshire Brands Company (Hillshire Brands), formerly Sara Lee Corporation, is a meat-centric food solutions company. The Company�s portfolio of meat includes Hillshire Farm Deli Select, sausage products and Hillshire Farm Hams. In October 2011, Ralcorp Holdings, Inc. acquired North American private brand refrigerated dough business of the Company. In November 2011, it sold its North American Fresh Bakery business to Grupo Bimbo S.A.B. de C.V. In December 2011, Grupo Bimbo SAB de CV announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Company�s business in Spain and Portugal. In January 2012, the Company acquired Tea Forte. In April 2012, it acquired Expresso.Coffee. On June 28, 2012, the Company completed the separation of its international coffee & tea business, which was held by the Company�s wholly owned subsidiary, DE US, Inc. In February 2013, it sold its Australian Bakery Business To McCain Foods.
