Hilltop Holdings Inc. is a financial holding Company. The Company provides business and consumer banking services through PlainsCapital Corporation (PlainsCapital). It offers financial products and services through its business units: PlainsCapital, a financial holding company that provides banking services, residential mortgage lending, wealth and investment management and treasury management; Hilltop Securities Holdings LLC, a holding company that provides investment banking and other related financial services, including municipal advisory, sales, trading and underwriting of taxable and tax-exempt fixed income securities, equity trading, clearing, securities lending, structured finance and retail brokerage services, and National Lloyds Corporation, a property and casualty insurance holding company that provides fire and homeowners insurance to low value dwellings and manufactured homes. It operates in four segments: banking, broker-dealer, mortgage origination and insurance.
