Description

Kaman Corporation (Kaman) is a diversified company that conducts business in the aerospace and industrial distribution markets. As of December 31, 2011, the Company operates two segments: Industrial Distribution and Aerospace. The Industrial Distribution includes Kaman Industrial Technologies Corporation (KIT). The Aerospace Segment is a manufacturer and subcontractor in the international, commercial and military aerospace and defense markets. The Industrial distribution segment accounts to 63.5% and the Aerospace segment accounted to 36.5% of the Company�s total revenues. On November 4, 2011, the Company acquired Vermont Composites, Inc. (Vermont Composites). On December 15, 2011, the Company acquired Catching Fluidpower, Inc. (Catching). During 2011, the Company acquired two smaller distribution businesses. In July 2012, the Company�s subsidiary, Kaman Industrial Technologies Corporation (KIT), acquired Florida Bearings, Inc. of Miami, Florida.
