Kennametal Inc. (Kennametal) is a supplier of tooling, engineered components and advanced materials consumed in production processes. It operates in two segments: Industrial and Infrastructure. Kennametal�s product offering includes a range of solution products in metalworking, such as metal cutting tools and tooling systems, and advanced materials, such as cemented tungsten carbide products. It specializes in developing and manufacturing metalworking tools and wear-resistant parts and coatings using a specialized type of powder metallurgy. Kennametal�s metalworking tools are made of cemented tungsten carbides, ceramics, cermets and other hard materials. It also manufactures and markets a line of toolholders, toolholding systems and rotary cutting tools by machining and fabricating steel bars and other metal alloys. Kennametal also manufactures products made from tungsten carbide or other hard materials. In March 2012, the Company acquired Deloro Stellite Group.
