KT Corporation is a Korea-based company engaged in the provision of integrated telecommunications services. It mainly provides wired and wireless phones services and high-speed Internet services, as well as Internet protocol television (IPTV), voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) and wireless broadband (WiBro) services. Its wired and wireless phones services include telephone services, such as local, domestic and international long-distance fixed-line telephone services, and mobile phone services, such as mobile telecommunication services and third generation (3G) mobile phone telecommunication services. It was also engaged in the satellite business. On December 1, 2012, the Company divested its satellite business into a newly established wholly owned subsidiary, KTSAT Co., Ltd.
