It provides its asset management services through a number of asset managers, each of which generally markets its products and services under its own brand name and, in many cases, distributes retail products and services through a centralized retail distribution network. Its investment advisory services include discretionary and non-discretionary management of separate investment accounts in a number of investment styles for institutional and individual investors. As of March 31, 2012, assets under management were $643.3 billion. In March 2013, the Company and Permal acquired Fauchier Partners.
